PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Plans are well underway for our 2012 Convention which will be held May 31st- June 2nd at the lyndon House Arts Center in Athens, GA. This will be an exciting opportunity for us to let the rest of the art world in on our passion for porcelain art. A number of new events have been scheduled around the 2012 convention including a month long exhibition of porcelain art in the lower level atrium of the Lyndon House Arts Center.
I am looking forward to serving as your president and convention chairman this year. Much work remains to be done and I am still looking for your input and support. I know that our conventions are a wonderful resource for us to showcase the many talented artist we have in our organization, and hopefully recruit a few new ones.
Feel free to contact me at any time if I can be of assistance.

WELCOME NEW CHAPTER- EMERALD COAST
The Emerald Coast Porcelain Artists are so pleased to join the Georgia WOCP. Our club consists of thirteen active members. Some have been painting 25 years or more. We paint at the Fort Walton Creative Senior Center. Our club meets on the second Monday from September till May, and paint every Monday and Friday year-round. We welcome visitors. We teach beginners.
We have an annual Victorian Tea to raise funds for seminars. We serve 120 guests. They love to come and see our beautiful tablescapes, complete with hand painted china, and feast on a very elegant high tea. We sell china and entertain with barbershop quartet, guest soloists, and piano. This year, we also had a china auction and a short demonstration.
We invite you to come and visit our beautiful Emerald Coast, and are looking forward the State Convention
